Vegetarian (& Vegan) Food You Shouldn’t Miss in Barcelona

Barcelona was on my list for many reasons but the food. Taking Madrid as a previous experience had shown me that it wouldn’t be easier to find many veggie options around.

But, oh just how I wrong was! I was actually beyond myself to find out many places popping around packing delicious vegetarian AND vegan options around Barcelona. Even better, it wasn’t only at the more touristic areas but as far as Camp Nou (which can be tourist-y but a lot less than the Gothic Quarter).

While we really enjoy to see the most beautiful and popular attractions in a new destination, we love to discover new places off the beaten track. We found a few delicious restaurants that we think should be TOTALLY included in your next trip to Barcelona!

Here are some of them:

Vegetarian Food You Shouldn’t Miss in Barcelona

Quinoa Bar Vegetaria

☛ Travessera de Gracia 203, Barcelona

Amazing little restaurant close to Parc Güell. They have a great menu with bocadillos (small snacks), salads, burgers and quiches. All made fresh and super delicious! Their coffee is also roasted specifically to their needs and tastes ah-mazing! Awesome staff and free wifi complement their fabulous service.

Quinoa Bar

La Riera Vegetaliano

☛Regente Mendieta 15, Barcelona

This great restaurant is a little further out of the hub of central Barcelona, but sooo worth to try! They serve every day a different menu in which you can pick 3 plates + 1 dessert + 1 drink for only €10! Plus a lot of delicious wholemeal bread to snack on while you wait for food. Seriously, this place was such a nice find and an amazing value for all the food we’ve got!

Belly full and happy soul!

Parc Güell

☛ Parc Güell, 08024

I’m not sure if I have to introduce you to it, but I’m sure you’ll pay it a visit if you come to Barcelona. Being one of the most famous works of Gaudí, this park houses great examples of this amazing architect and artist. His organic style makes the area a oasis for nature lovers. It would be no different that their only Coffee Shop would offer some amazing vegetarian and vegan options. Like this huge fruit salad bar with plenty of choices to pick and more savoury goodies available too.

Parc Guell

Puglia in Tavola

☛Carrer N’agla 9, Barcelona

Although not all vegetarian, this place is a little hideaway of Italian food in the heart of Barcelona. As a Italian lover I just couldn’t help but to add this little spot in the list. They serve a huge range of vegetarian pizzas, focaccias, panzerottos and more! Super delicious and made by real Italian cooks.

My time in Barcelona hasn’t finished yet, so I might be adding some new discoveries here soon! Keep your eyes peeled and check out my Instagram for more delicious pics and updates!
